Candidate portal
Apply for roles, track applications, and sign offers online.
This guide is the detailed Campsite help article for this topic. It is written for UK employers and people teams using a branded organisation workspace such as {org}.camp-site.co.uk.
Browsing open roles
Your prospective employer's careers page is publicly accessible - no account or login required. Visit: https://{org}.camp-site.co.uk/jobs
Replace {org} with the organisation's slug (for example, acme-demo.camp-site.co.uk/jobs). The careers page lists all currently open roles with their title, department, salary (if shown), and closing date. Click any role to read the full job description and person specification before deciding to apply.
Submitting an application
- Open the role and click Apply.
- Fill in the application form. Questions are set by the employer for that role.
- Create a candidate account (email and password), or Continue with LinkedIn on the careers login and registration pages. LinkedIn sign-in prefills your name, email, and profile link. This account is separate from any staff account.
- Submit your application. You receive a confirmation email straight away, and the application appears in your candidate portal.
A candidate account is separate from a staff account. If you are already on staff and applying for another role, still use the candidate portal with a candidate account.
Tracking your application
After you apply, log in to your candidate portal at: https://{org}.camp-site.co.uk/jobs/me
You can see every application you have submitted to this organisation. Status updates and emails cover these milestones only:
Internal hiring steps such as shortlisting do not change your portal status or send you a status email. The hiring team may still send messages through the portal when they need something from you.
Signing your offer
If the hiring team makes you an offer, you receive an email with a link to your offer document. You can also open it from your candidate portal.
- Open the offer from the email or from
/jobs/me(or/jobs/offer-sign/{id}from your unique link). - Review the letter carefully (role title, start date, salary, and any conditions).
- Sign and accept online when ready.
- Complete any right-to-work steps you are asked for before your first working day.
Check your spam folder if you are not receiving emails from the hiring team.
After you accept
Once you have signed your offer and completed any required steps, the organisation's HR team prepares your contract and, when the time comes, sets up your staff account for your first day. You receive further instructions by email.
The candidate portal is for job applications only. Once you join as a staff member, you use a separate staff account on the same subdomain for rota, payroll, and other features.
Before you contact support
- Confirm you are signed in on the correct organisation URL (
{org}.camp-site.co.uk). - Refresh after a recent role or permission change.
- Check whether a colleague with the same role can see the same controls.
- Capture the page URL and any error text if you still need help.
