How staff submit reasonable adjustment requests and how HR reviews them.

Overview

Staff can submit reasonable adjustment requests from their profile under Payroll and records → Change history. HR users with the right permissions review requests on the employee HR file Adjustments tab.

Submitting a request (staff)

  1. Open Profile → Payroll and records → Change history.
  2. Scroll to Reasonable adjustment requests.
  3. Choose a request type (workplace, recruitment process, equipment, or other).
  4. Describe the adjustment you need and submit.

You can see the status of your requests on the same page. HR is notified when a new request needs action.

Reviewing requests (HR)

  1. Open People → Employee records and select the employee.
  2. Open the Adjustments tab.
  3. Review submitted requests, add optional HR notes, and mark as in review, approved, or declined.

Pending requests also appear in HR alerts (/hr/hr-metric-alerts).

Permissions

  • Staff need standard profile access to submit their own requests.
  • HR needs View reasonable adjustment requests and Manage reasonable adjustment requests permissions to review and update requests for all employees.

Before you contact support

  1. Confirm you are signed in on the correct organisation URL ({org}.camp-site.co.uk).
  2. Refresh after a recent role or permission change.
  3. Check whether a colleague with the same role can see the same controls.
  4. Capture the page URL and any error text if you still need help.
