Reports

Open the reports workspace and run operational summary packs.

This guide is the detailed Campsite help article for this topic. It is written for UK employers and people teams using a branded organisation workspace such as {org}.camp-site.co.uk.

The reports workspace at /reports gives HR, finance, and admin users operational visibility across people, hiring, onboarding, and payroll data.

Who can access reports

Access is controlled by the reports.view permission. Users without it are redirected to the dashboard. Users with reports.manage can create cross-domain HR and finance reports, change visibility, and configure schedules.

Department scope also applies: many reports respect your department membership unless you hold org-wide report permissions.

Summary packs

Summary packs collapse several domains into exportable snapshots. Common packs include:

PackWhat it shows
Staff statusActive, pending, suspended, and missing HR record counts
OnboardingActive runs, completed runs, and account-setup gaps
Missing documentsEmployees with incomplete account-setup or HR file items
ShortlistingActive rounds and unresolved review flags

Each pack links into the relevant HR, hiring, or admin workspace when you need to act on a row.

Hiring KPI strip

When you have recruitment access, the reports home can surface hiring KPIs such as requisitions pending, confirmed starts, outstanding offers, and readiness blocks. Use these as a launch point into the hiring pipeline rather than a standalone BI tool.

Reports includes AI search to help you find saved reports and presets by plain-language query. Results respect your permissions and department scope.

Some KPI strips also appear on HR home, Admin home, Manager home, Finance home, and Compliance reports. Those feeds reuse the same underlying metrics but are scoped to each workspace.

See saved and scheduled reports for custom builder, exports, and scheduled delivery.

  2. Refresh after a recent role or permission change.
  3. Check whether a colleague with the same role can see the same controls.
  4. Capture the page URL and any error text if you still need help.
