Reset your password or get unstuck with MFA

Reset a forgotten password

1. Go to {org}.camp-site.co.uk/login.
2. Select Forgot password?
3. Enter the email registered on the account.
4. Open the Campsite email promptly (links expire). Check spam.
5. Choose a new strong password and save.
6. Sign in and re-enable or confirm MFA if prompted.

If you no longer control that inbox, contact an organisation admin or support@camp-site.co.uk. Do not open a duplicate account.

Enable MFA (recommended)

1. Avatar → Settings → Security
2. Enable MFA
3. Scan with an authenticator app
4. Store backup codes offline
5. Optionally remember trusted browsers for up to 30 days

Authenticator MFA is managed on web. Mobile may use email codes. Biometrics unlock the app locally; they do not replace account MFA.

Locked out of MFA

1. Try backup codes if you saved them.
2. Ask an organisation admin whether they can help recover access.
3. Email support with organisation slug and account email. Never send passwords or live MFA codes in a ticket.

Re-authentication prompts

Sensitive areas (bank details, payroll) may ask for your password again even while signed in. That protects data on shared devices.
